What is a Leadership Columbia Class Project?
As a cornerstone of the Leadership Columbia experience, each class selects and completes a community impact project that addresses a meaningful need in the Midlands. Through collaboration, strategic planning, fundraising, and hands-on service, participants work together to create a lasting impact for a local nonprofit organization.

Eligible projects must benefit a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving one or more of the Columbia Chamber's six-county region: Richland, Lexington, Fairfield, Kershaw, Calhoun, or Newberry. Each year, the selected nonprofit partners with the Leadership Columbia class to bring a transformative project to life, strengthening both the organization and the community it serves.
