The General Assembly just passed the most comprehensive roads legislation in a decade. Having recommended many of the changes the new law makes, Secretary of Transportation Justin Powell is working with his team to launch improvements that will modernize SCDOT, deliver road and bridge projects faster, and bring new private sector and other funding sources to the largest projects. Secretary Powell will discuss the impacts of the new law and the future of SCDOT and the state’s road infrastructure.
