You’ll hear from two dynamic leaders who are shaping our community and motivating others to reach their fullest potential:
- Mayor Andrews will share exciting updates on the continued growth and momentum in Forest Acres.
- Coach Kelly — best-selling author, renowned leadership speaker, and founder of Empowered to Win Leadership — will deliver an energizing and interactive discussion on how to drive results by motivating teams and empowering individuals to thrive in business and life.
- TakoSushi is hosting the event and will provide breakfast treats with coffee being provided by 7 Brew Coffee.
Plus, we’ll celebrate excellence in education as the Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union Educator Excellence Award is presented to an outstanding Richland School District One teacher.

The Columbia Chamber is proud to announce the Educator Excellence Program, sponsored by Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union, designed to recognize and celebrate outstanding teachers within the Richland One and Richland Two school districts. Each quarter, one exceptional educator from each district will be honored as the Teacher of the Quarter at a Gather & Grow event.
Richland One teachers will be recognized at Gather & Grow: Forest Acres, while Richland Two teachers will be honored at Gather & Grow: Northeast. This recognition aims to highlight the invaluable contributions of our educators which directly supports the development of a well-prepared future workforce.
Each chosen Teacher of the Quarter will receive $500 from Palmetto Citizens FCU and be featured in a billboard campaign.
The Columbia Chamber is proud to introduce Gather & Grow (formerly Small Business Breakout), a consolidated program designed to better serve and empower our region's businesses. By combining the strengths of the Small Business Council and Area Business Alliances, Gather & Grow offers a unified platform to foster connections, share resources, and promote growth for businesses of all sizes.
To replace the former Small Business Breakout events, Gather & Grow will now take place monthly in the morning, providing fresh opportunities to network, exchange ideas, and learn from experts in the field. These events will rotate across different areas, ensuring accessibility for businesses throughout the region. Join us at a location closest to you!
