The Chamber Toolbox

The Chamber Toolbox

As your business adjusts to the “new- or next- normal” in which we find ourselves, be sure to take advantage of the online advantages of your Chamber Partnership. There are a variety of ways to maximize your Partnership and stay up-to-date with Chamber news and events. These items make up your Chamber Toolbox and are accessible to you at any time so be sure to put them to work.

Partner Portal:
The Partner Portal is an invaluable way to put your Chamber investment to work and extend your marketing efforts. Every Chamber Partner has access to the Partner Portal through the Chamber website. In the Portal you are able to add your events to the Chamber’s community calendar, advertise job openings, create hot deals for special offerings, publish press releases, and update your company’s contact information.

Learn more about the Partner Portal and how to access it HERE.

Chamber Website:
The Chamber website is the central hub for Chamber information like programs, advocacy efforts, news, and events. You may also find the Partner Directory that lists contact information for other Chamber Partners. Under the “Become a Partner” section, you may review your Partnership benefits and view the perks of every Partnership level. Companies interested in joining the Chamber can do so easily through this page as well. If you are interested in learning more about the Chamber’s advocacy efforts or need to find contact information for local and state legislators, you may find it HERE.

If you have a question about the Chamber that may not be on our website, please email us at inquiry@columbiachamber.com or call us at (803) 733-1110.

Social Media:
In today’s digital world, social media is an easy and inexpensive way for the Chamber to keep our Partners up-to-date and share important news that our Partners share with us. With over 12K Twitter Followers, 5K Facebook Follows, and 2K Instagram Followers, the Chamber is able to share content with a large audience made up of a variety of people.

Do you have news that you would like the Chamber to share? Please email us at inquiry@columbiachamber.com or tag us on the following social media platforms.

Virtual Meetings:
While we are keeping our distance, we will continue to host virtual meetings and events. Please check our Events Calendar to see what’s happening next.

For Chamber Partners, we would like to invite you to join us for Coffee with Carl every Friday morning at 9:00AM on Zoom to hear directly from our President & CEO Carl Blackstone. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and get information for your business. If you are a Chamber Partner, but not receiving these emails, please contact Anna Peterson.

If you missed an online event, including Coffee with Carl, please check out our YouTube page, as we post all recorded meetings there. Make sure you subscribe to us to stay up-to-date on all things Chamber.

Email Updates:
Each month, the Chamber sends an eNewsletter and weekly Upcoming Events. We also try to keep our Partners updated by sending event reminder emails with a link to register.

As a Chamber Partner, you also have the opportunity to purchase ad space on the eNewsletter and Upcoming Events emails that are sent to almost 6K people. For more information about advertising, please contact Rose Dangerfield by email or at (803) 733-1128.

If you are not currently receiving Chamber emails, please sign up at the top of the Chamber’s website at the “Stay Connected” section HERE.
