September 2018 Partner of the Month: CVETS
The Columbia Chamber is proud to name Columbia Veterinary Emergency Trauma & Specialty (CVETS) September’s Partner of the Month. Many of our Partners have shared unsolicited praise and given high remarks to the great work CVETS is doing and how much our community needed their services. This is a great testament to the importance of CVETS work in our community and makes them deserving of receiving this month’s award.
CVETS joined the Chamber before their facility groundbreaking last fall. Within a year, CVETS has gone from a plot of land to a fully operating, 24/7 animal hospital and treatment facility. CVETS opened their state-of-the-art facility on Oakcrest Drive in May and has treated numerous animals since.
One of their recent patients has received a great deal of media attention for his amazing transformation. Champ, an 18-month-old Mastiff mix, was found abused and starved in Laurens County in mid-August. After just two weeks of rehabilitation, Champ is able to walk by himself and is expected to make a full recovery, all thanks to the well-trained team at CVETS.
