Join us for a Combined Small Business Breakout and Northeast Connection to hear our area Chamber executives highlight the value of small businesses as we celebrate Small Business Month. Small businesses account for 99% of all business in the US (Better Accounting) and are described as the lifeblood that keeps the American economy functioning. According to a report issued by the Small Business Administration (SBA) in 2019, small businesses account for 44 percent of economic activity in the United States. Small businesses create two-thirds of new jobs and deliver 43.5 percent of the United States’ gross domestic product (GDP).

The Small Business Council, presented by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, hosts these meetings to provide a forum for education, networking, and motivation.
The Columbia Chamber’s Northeast Connection brings small businesses in the Northeast region together in one location. The NE Connection serves as an advocate for small businesses in our community and provides a forum for education, networking, and motivation. The Chamber is focused on creating and promoting an environment where businesses can flourish. The link between the Northeast region and downtown Partners will strengthen relationships, promote growth, and enhance community awareness for small businesses.
