The Columbia Chamber’s 118th Annual Gala, presented by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, promises to be one that Partners will be talking about all year! The Chamber’s Annual Gala is our region’s premier business event with attendees representing some of the area’s most influential corporate leaders, small business owners, young professionals, educators, elected officials, and more. Join us as we celebrate the many achievements of our Partners over the past year as we recognize the Ambassador of the Year and other awards.
As the past year brought many changes to our personal and professional lives, the Chamber felt it fitting to refresh our Annual Gala to reflect the times we are now living in. We understand some attendees may not feel comfortable in a traditional indoor venue. This year’s Annual Gala will be held at the Central Energy event space, which features an open-air concept that allows guests to freely move between the indoor and outdoor spaces while mingling. No need to fight the crowd for a front row view – giant screens will be live streaming the main stage throughout the night so that guests can watch the program and awards presentation from wherever they are.
This year we are moving away from the traditional black-tie dress code and are encouraging guests to instead “dress to impress.” Business or cocktail attire is appropriate. Please be mindful of the nature of the space when choosing attire, as guests will likely be on their feet (indoors and outdoors) for much of the event. Bring your dancing shoes- R&B group The Tams will provide an evening of live entertainment that’s sure to get you grooving!
Be sure to grab a drink and a bite to eat, but don’t worry about saving your seat! This year’s Gala will no longer feature a formal dinner with assigned seating arrangements, but rather a more relaxed experience with plenty of room to socialize over great food and drinks.

Cancellation Policy
Payments for all Columbia Chamber events are due five (5) business days in advance of event date. The Columbia Chamber must maintain a cancellation policy for events in order to properly plan for catering, venue expenses and marketing efforts. Unless stated otherwise, Chamber reservations must be canceled five (5) business days prior to the event to be eligible for a refund, less a 50% processing fee. No refunds will be issued after the event. No-shows will be charged in-full. Substitutions are welcome at any time. Potential-Partner Chamber reservations should be canceled five (5) business days prior to the event however, no refund will be given. The Columbia Chamber works hard to ensure that every dollar is spent responsibly.
