Annual Gala & Auction
The Annual Gala & Auction is the Columbia Chamber’s largest fundraisers. The event features recognized speakers, an overview of the Chamber’s accomplishments for the year, installation of the new chair of the Board of Directors and the presentation of the Ambassador of the Year. The program also features an auction with items from local businesses around the region. More than 1000 Chamber supports attended the 2010 Annual Gala.
Board of Advisors
Members of the Board of Advisors are the Chamber’s top investors who provide significant leadership and financial resources to advance the Chamber’s initiatives.
Board of Directors
The Chamber's Board of Directors is a group of select volunteers and staff members who meet to discuss the issues that effect Chamber membership. 
Business@Midday
Attendees at this monthly luncheon gained insight from a variety of speakers including Tim Moore, SocialCrush: Maj. Gen. James Milano, Ft. Jackson and Derek Walker, brown and browner advertizing. With more than 1,000 members in attendance this year, it was a great way to expand one’s network.
Business@Sunrise
This monthly breakfast meeting brings together more than 150 chamber members for the opportunity to network and meet the area’s key professionals.
Business After Hours
This event gives members an additional opportunity to network with other Columbia professionals.  Starting out small, this event has quickly become one of our most popular networking sessions.

Downtown - First Tuesday of each month
Northeast - Third Tuesday of each month

Chamber SmartBuys
The companies that are listed as Chamber SmartBuys are companies that have been chosen by the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce as excellent business partners who will guarantee you special discounts on their products and services. These companies are officially endorsed by the Chamber. 
Chamber Issues Committee
The Chamber Issues Committee is a forum for addressing local, regional, and federal issues facing the business community. 
Diplomats
The Chamber Diplomats are a group of knowledgeable volunteers serving in a year-round effort as customer service representatives of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, as well as acting as liaisons between the chamber staff, Board of Directors and our members.
Friends of Our Forces
The Chamber works diligently to encourage a healthy and strong relationship between our armed forces at Fort Jackson and the business community in the Greater Columbia area. We encourage ALL businesses to offer discounts to military personnel and their families as a way to show our appreciation and give back to the soldiers.
Golf Tournament
One of the Chamber’s largest fundraisers, the 2011 annual Columbia Chamber golf tournament was held at Wildwood Country Club on May 4 & 5.  A record number of 300 golfers participated in the event, with over 20 companies displayed throughout the golf course.  
Information Technology Council
The Columbia Information Technology Council is an assemblage of technology leaders promoting Columbia as a desirable location for IT companies.  Drawing upon their combined knowledge and experience, the ITC identifies, cultivates and promotes those characteristics that IT businesses require for efficient and successful operations.

Leadership Columbia Class
Leadership Columbia, a program created and managed by the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, has celebrated close to 1,700 graduates since its inception in 1973.  The 59 member Class of 2011 engaged in a 10-month program including monthly learning sessions, class retreat, group project and other enrichment activities.
Leadership Columbia Alumni Association
The Leadership Columbia Alumni Association strives to provide meaningful, enriching and diverse programs that will appeal to a wide variety of Leadership Columbia graduates in order to keep them engaged in the community, continue to develop leadership skills and develop an understanding of the issues that impact our community.  
Members Only Discounts
The companies that are part of the Member-2-Member program have volunteered to offer Chamber members discounts on a variety of business and personal needs. 
Member Orientation & Reception
The Greater Columbia Chamber holds these bimonthly informal meetings to give new members a chance to meet Chamber staff, ask questions and figure out how to get the most out of their investment.
Military Affairs Committee
The Military Affairs Committee works to promote, enhance and strengthen the relationships between our community and the military.
Northeast Area Council
The mission of the Northeast Area Council is to lead, collaborate and engage the Northeast business community and elected officials and partners in proactive initiatives that would foster the business environment and create opportunities for our community to thrive.

Palmetto Pillar Awards

This event honors the best and the brightest in the technology community. The Annual Palmetto Pillar Awards are presented to the leaders and innovators in technology by the Columbia Chamber Information Technology Council.

Seminar Series
The Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce is pleased to bring you a variety of workshops targeting your business. Please refer to the chamber's online calendar for other upcoming workshops/seminars.
Teacher Recognition Breakfast
Each year the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce partners with the Midlands Education and Business Alliance (MEBA) to host the Annual Teacher Recognition Breakfast, where Teachers’ of the Year for each of the regional school districts are honored.  This year, more than 250 educators were recognized from 5 school districts.  
Total Resource Campaign
Volunteers from member companies can earn exciting rewards while developing new resources for the Chamber in the Total Resource Campaign, conducted August through November each year. 
Women, Minority & Small Business Council
The mission of the Women, Minority & Small Business Council is to provide opportunities for minority firms to interact and do business with majority companies.
