The WELCOME publication
The WELCOME publication is designed for friends and family of graduates of basic training and students in the specialty schools at Fort Jackson. The purpose of this guide is to serve as a pocket handbook featuring the attractions, events, schools, lodging facilities, neighborhoods, entertainment venues, and restaurants of Columbia. Official launch of this publication is projected to be January 2007. For more information about this publication or to inquire about advertising opportunities, please contact Courtney Herring at (803) 733-1148.

The Riverbanks Regional Review is still available.
This publication was originally created as a resource for newcomers and visitors to the area but has become so popular with Columbians that we now make it available to everyone. The 2006 issue is filled with photographs and articles that tell the story of why South Carolina’s Capitol City is the place we choose to call home. The Riverbanks Regional Review is a beautiful publication that many proudly display in their homes and offices. It is also the perfect magazine to share with friends and business associates whom you would like to familiarize with the region.

The 2006 Chamber Map of the Greater Columbia Riverbanks Region is available!
The Chamber's map of the Greater Columbia Riverbanks Region contains all major roadways in the area, the most updated and detailed information on new neighborhoods and streets.  It is a full color map. In addition to the map being an excellent guide, it also includes schools, business and city listings of our area.
The map is an excellent tool for highly visible advertisement. If you would like to order 2006 maps for your business or to place advertising in the upcoming 2008 map, contact Sonya Chapman at (803) 733-1117.

2006 Major Employers Directory-a important resource for sales and job search information
The Major Employers Directory is a listing of major employers in five counties that comprise the Midlands of South Carolina - Calhoun, Fairfield, Kershaw, Lexington, Newberry, and Richland. Major employers are those who have more than 50 employees. The 2005-2006 Major Employers Directory also includes government and higher education institutions in several different formats. There are alphabetical listing and a directory subdivided by county of operation.  To purchase a copy of the Major Employers Directory go to the Chamber Store and click Directories.
