Act the formal product of a legislative body
Amendment a : the process of amending by parliamentary or constitutional procedure b : an alteration proposed or effected by this process
Appropriation something that has been appropriated; specifically : money set aside by formal action for a specific use

Bill a draft of a law presented to a legislature for enactment; also : the law itself
Budget a : a statement of the financial position of an administration for a definite period of time based on estimates of expenditures during the period and proposals for financing them b : a plan for the coordination of resources and expenditures c : the amount of money that is available for, required for, or assigned to a particular purpose

Calendar a list of bills or other items reported out of committee for consideration by a legislative assembly
Caucus a closed meeting of a group of persons belonging to the same political party or faction usually to select candidates or to decide on policy
