The Diplomats provide vital customer service by calling on new and existing Chamber members to thank them for their support, to monitor member satisfaction and to introduce them to new and updated programs the Chamber has to offer. We congratulate Dennis Butt, our Diplomat of the Month for going over and beyond the call of duty.
Dennis says “Talking with members about their use of Chamber marketing benefits is an easy way to help them grow and identify any additional needs they may have for PR or marketing,” said Dennis Butt. “Although I have been away for several years, my previous 5 years experience working with member companies has made it a seamless transition back into the chamber fold. Topics from simple networking to the latest programs are of interest to the members. As an example, it is no surprise the Chamber is coordinating the charge to move the South Carolina Midlands from good to great when you see programs like the Diplomats collecting feedback to determine how well the Chamber is serving its members. As president, Ike has never been satisfied with the status quo. This latest program is a natural for Chamber staff, volunteers and members in general. As Diplomats, we are more than the “eyes and ears” of the organization we are on the frontline of the ever changing business community offering the Chamber’s helping hand to the Midland’s businesses.”
