Total Resource Campaign

Welcome to the 2011 Total Resource Campaign:

Playing for Keeps

Call for Volunteers

Thank you for your dedication and commitment to the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce and the Total Resource Campaign. Without volunteers like you, we could not possibly raise the necessary funds needed to sustain programs for business, community and membership development; such efforts are at the heart of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce.

This year our theme is

Playing For Keeps

Playing for Keeps reminds us what this campaign is all about to the Chamber and our community:

  • Attracting and keeping young talent within our community

  • Continuing our military relationships

  • Building regionalism

  • Improving transportation infrastructure

  • Growing businesses through the Business Retention and Expansion Program

Moving toward the ideal 21st Century Chamber, there have been several staffing changes. The chamber welcomes Nicole Curtis our new communications director.  Her role will be to communicate the Chamber’s mission and raise awareness of our efforts throughout the region.  Shannon Viera will direct the 20011 Total Resource Campaign as well as continuing as the Executive Director for CACCE, managing the Chamber’s Golf Tournament and Teacher Recognition Event. Kendall Davis now manages the Smart Buys program, coordinates ITC, Seminars, and the Annual Gala & Auction.  Finally, Renee Joye will direct all the NE Area Council Events, Military Affairs, Business@Sunrise, Business at Midday and the Women and Minority Small Business Council.

We have an exciting 2011 Total Resource Campaign planned and look forward to seeing you at the Volunteer Recruitment Kickoff Lawn Party June 23 at 4:30pm on the front lawn at the Chamber. Throughout the kick-off event, there will be give-away prizes for returning volunteers and new volunteers. You don’t want to miss it!
